Margie’s passion for learning and teaching is what compels artists to take her classes over and over again. She combines her thorough academic knowledge of beading technique and color with intuitive knowing and respect for colors’ energetic life force, and a profound sense of playfulness. Bead artist SaraBeth Cullinan writes “Margie is a powerful inspiration both as a teacher and a person.”
Margie teaches color and design for graphics, fashion, and interior design students at a college level, and is available to teach beading projects and color through bead stores, bead societies, and bead shows.
Project classes are finished jewelry pieces the participant can learn with Margie. Skill levels vary. Kits, detailed color handouts, photos, and finished samples in various stages of completion provided.

Receive guidance and feedback from Margie in a one-hour phone consultation. You'll email her 4 to 5 digital photos of your work (at least 5" square, 72dpi, color, of course!) that you feel represent your color choices. These can be images in any medium: paintings, drawings, beadwork, etc. These don't have to be your best work. In fact, you often learn more from work that is not your best. So send images of color problems you'd like to resolve. You can also send images of works in progress.
You and Margie will explore your strengths and weaknesses. She'll suggest directions for you to take and things for you to study to deepen and strengthen your unique, expressive, artistic voice.
Consultations are $99.
Margie consults on Thursday between 3pm EST and 5pm EST.
We each possess a unique color voice. When you express yourself through color, do you mumble or sing?
Take your artistry to a higher level with one-on-one consultations with Margie. Learn your strengths and weaknesses, and get on the path to discovering your true color voice.
