Auroral Waves
I’m endlessly mesmerized by the undulating auroral light created by our star’s solar winds as they dance with our magnetic fields: Beauty, mystery, power and majesty all at once. When I sat down at the easel I wasn’t trying to paint it, I was experimenting with the colors. Lo and behold, Magic swirled in to help me create this painting.

I begin my paintings and drawings by inviting creativity and color into meditation, where we discuss (without words) what we’re going to create. I focus on the feelings I want to evoke, and then ask color and creativity how they would like to move, take form and shape, and work with me to express beauty.
